Employee Amputates Thumb Using A Chop Saw
At approximately 9:10 a.m. on October 15, 2002, Employee #1 was operating a jump saw (chop saw). He inadvertently amputated part of his right thumb. It is not clear why his thumb came in contact with the saw blade. He was hospitalized.
