Employee Run over by Dump Truck

On July 17, 2002, Employee #1 was signing the tickets for each load the dump trucks were bringing in loads of fill dirt. The driver of the truck stopped to remove the cover from the truck. He reentered his truck and continued to back up. When the driver was backing into the construction site, he did not see Employee #1 behind the truck and the driver struck him, running him over with the truck. Employee #1 died of his injuries.
