Employee killed when hit by motor vehicle

At approximately 7:50 a.m. on May 23, 2002, Employee #1, a newspaper salesman, was struck and killed by a motor vehicle while standing on the median of a busy intersection. The driver of the vehicle spilled hot coffee on his lap and lost control of the vehicle, jumped the median and pinned the employee under the rear axle of the car. The employee was killed.
