Employee Trips on Pallet and Breaks Her Leg

On August 27, 2005, Employee #1, a salesperson for a high end furniture and art supply retailer, was walking into a loading dock. The dock is shared with another company and measured 30 ft by 30 ft. She entered the dock without turning on the overhead lights and hit the edge of a pallet and fell backwards. She was hospitalized with a fractured leg.
