Employee Is Injured in Fall While Installing Guardrails

On May 4, 2004, Employee #1, a carpenter, was installing a guardrail along two sets of stairs and the open edges of the second floor on a two story addition of an existing home. Employee #1 fell 11 feet from the second floor to the concrete floor below. He was hospitalized and treated for a skull fracture and bruising to his brain.
