Investigation Summary
At 9:00 a.m. on May 15, 2003, Employee #1, a gardener, had finished trimming a palm tree. After removing his safety harness and starting to descend a ladder, he fell 8 ft to ground. He was hospitalized for a compression vertebra fracture at the L1 level. No equipment problems were found after the incident.
