Investigation Summary
On January 16, 2003, Employee #1 was crossing a road to pick up trash when he was struck by passing vehicle. The employee was wearing dark clothing and was not wearing a reflective vest. The employee had also left the high beams of his truck on, impeding the visibility of the oncoming traffic. Employee #1 was killed.
