ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE THRU BOOM

AN EMPLOYEE WITH A LINE-CLEARANCE TREE-TRIMMING CREW WAS ELECTROCUTED WHEN THE BOOM OF AN AERIAL LIFT CONTACTED A 7200-VOLT OVERHEAD POWER LINE. HE HAD BEEN TOUCHING THE SIDE OF THE AERIAL LIFT TRUCK WHEN THE EMPLOYEE IN THE BUCKET BROUGHT THE BOOM INTO CONTACT WITH THE POWER LINE.
