Employee is hospitalized with amputated finger

At approximately 5:37 a.m. on January 3, 2002, an employee was changing a plastic board covering a cutting surface on a Clicker machine. The employee accidentally brushed against the machine's on-off switch, activating the machine. The employee's right hand was on the cutting surface when the machine was activated. The employee was hospitalized with an amputation to his fourth finger.
