Employee Dies From Heart Attack

At 2:15 a.m. on October 15, 2001, Employee #1 was working as a coffee maker and janitor at Stover's Kitchens. He was 1 hour into his shift when he had chest pains. He went into the restroom and returned to sit down and complained more. Apparently, Employee #1 had complained of chest pains in the past, and his family had a history of heart conditions. A coworker called for medical assistance. Employee #1 was taken to Harborview Hospital, where he died enroute to the hospital.
