Investigation Summary
Employee #1, the owner/president of the company, was walking within two tree lengths of trees that were being felled in a domino manner. As a saw man cut a hardwood tree, it began to fall in the intended direction as instructed by Employee #1. The tree fell into three other pine trees that were cut but still standing. The top of the last of the three pine tree to fall struck Employee #1 on the head, killing him.
