Employees struck and injured by falling wall

On July 25, 2001, Employee #1, #2, #3 and 10 other coworkers were manually raising a wall to the vertical position. The wall was a two story 2-in. by 6-in. framed exterior with dimensions of 21.33 ft tall by 22.83 ft wide. During the raising of the wall, the weight of the wall overcame the strength of the employees resulting in the wall falling backwards. As it fell, the wall struck Employee #1, #2, #3 causing them to receive injuries. Employee #1 and #2 suffered lacerations and contusion upon their back as the wall hit them. As for Employee #3, he sustained fractures in his foot because of the wall collapse.
