Employee Dies From Heart Attack
At approximately 6:00 a.m. on June 26, 2001, Employee #1, a Fred Meyer Delivery truck driver, arrived at the Yakima store. He parked his truck at the loading dock at the rear of the store. He had an apparent heart attack and died at the scene. He was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
