At approximately 9:30 a.m. on November 1, 2001, employees for the City of Las Vegas were loading a Genie aerial work platform (AWP) when the unit fell off the back of a flat-bed truck, striking Employee #1, who was on the ground. The employee sustained serious injury to his left foot and head.
