Electric Shock - Direct Contact with Energized Parts

A machinery repair worker for a company that made cheese was repairing a fluorescent light fixture, even though he had been instructed to leave this job for another worker. The procedure for doing this work required that the light be deenergized, but Employee #1 was working on the fixture while it was energized at 277 volts. He apparently contacted energized parts and was electrocuted.
