Employee Is Killed in Fall from Tree

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on July 2, 2001, Employee #1 was cutting a tree behind a single family home. He climbed 60 feet and began cutting limbs off of an 8-inch diameter silver maple. A limb fell onto the limb he was on and caused it to break. He fell to the ground. He was transported to the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
