Employee Pinned When Fork Lift Overturned

On February 24, 2003, Employee #1 was operating a fork lift outside a ceramic floor tile warehouse on a concrete driveway. When he attempted to re-enter the warehouse, one of the tires left the pavement, causing the fork lift to overturn. Employee #1 was ejected from the fork lift and was found pinned between the ground and the roll bar. Employee #1 remained in critical condition for ten days in a hospital intensive care unit until he died.
