Employee injures finger in unguarded machine

On November 24, 2001, Employee #1 was making a minor adjustment to a Harris Graphics inserting machine. This machine was not equipped with guards or a device that would prevent someone from reaching into the machine while it was running. Employee #1's left ring finger was caught, and he was hospitalized with a partial amputation.
