Employee Killed in Fall From Vehicle

Employee #1 had finished working and proceeded from the company's showroom to a golf cart that had only two seats. He and another employee climbed and stood on the rear step of the golf cart, in order to get a ride to their private vehicles, which were located across the roadway. A 10 year old juvenile who was on spring break from school was operating the golf cart. As the golf cart proceeded through the marina's storage area's main roadway, the car swerved to the left, causing Employee #1 to fall from the golf cart. Employee #1 struck his head against the macadam roadway. Employee #1 was airlifted to Bayfront Hospital where he died from severe head trauma.
