Carpenter Injured in Fall

On November 2, 2001, Employee #1, a carpenter, was working on an elevated platform. He fell approximately eight feet, fracturing his ankle. The forks were positioned too close together to offer stability and the platform was not adequately secured to the lifting carriage or forks. Employee #1 did not use any fall protection.
