Employee Injured In Fall From Scaffold

Employee #1 was dismantling a scaffold that was three sections high. As Employee #1 removed a pin from one of the sections and tried to lower the section, he slipped and fell approximately 12 ft, striking his elbow on the concrete floor. Employee #1 chipped the bone in his elbow. Employee #1 was hired that day and had been given no training or instruction on how to do the task safely. Employee #1 suffered a fracture but was not hospitalized.
