Investigation Summary
On April 3, 2002, Employee #1 was loading a shipment of plants during a thunderstorm. He walked over to stack of planting pots to get a piece of plastic wrap to cover him. He was struck by lightning, and was found the next day by his coworkers lying wrapped in the plastic face down in the field. Employee #1 was killed, and his body was removed by the coroner's office.
