Investigation Summary
Employee #1 and Employee #2 were working on the first floor of a two-story townhouse. The employees had removed the first floor braces used to stabilize the building in order to install the interior walls. As a result the second floor and roof section collapsed onto the first floor trapping Employee #1 and Employee #2 under the rubble. Employee #1 was hospitalized for treatment of fractures. Employee #2 was treated for bruises and abrasions but was not hospitalized.
