Employee killed in fall from roof

Employee #1, a self employed contractor, was cutting gypsum board on a decked roof when he stepped back and fell 28 feet to the ground. After hitting the ground, Employee #1 was alive and talking, and was taken to the local hospital emergency room, where he died.
