Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a chaser, was spooling the sky line with one foot on the main line drum and the other on a catwalk. The yarder engineer saw that the carriage was about to fall over and went ahead on the mainline causing Employee #1 to loose his balance. He fell on the drum and was sucked into the main line drum. Employee #1 was hospitalized with two fractured legs.
