Employee struck and killed by falling tree

On December 10, 2001, Employee #1 and a coworker were cutting down trees in close proximity to one another. Employee #1 positioned himself on a road below the felling activity of the coworker. As the coworker cut down a tree, the tree struck another tree that fell upon the road. The second tree hit Employee #1 upon the head causing traumatic head injuries that were fatal.
