Investigation Summary
On December 26, 2000, Employee #1 was backfilling dirt around a new litter building on his farm. He was operating a 753 Bobcat skid Loader, which did not have roll over protection. As the skid loader slid off of a new bank of soil, it overturned causing the total weight of the vehicle to land upon the cephalic region of the occupant. The impact of the vehicle on his head crushed his skull resulting in fatal injuries. Then the loader overturned again landing upright on its tires with the occupant in his seat. He was found in the vehicle several hours later.
