Employee killed when caught between truck and machine

At approximately 5:00 a.m. on November 11, 2000, Employee #1 was caught between a moving piece of machinery, known as a lowering scoop, and a powered industrial truck equipped with a clamping mechanism. Employee #1 was pinned and crushed in the chest region. Employee #1 was transported to the emergency room at the medical facility where he was pronounced dead.
