Employee Shot By Nail Gun Into His Chest

Employee #1 was working to construct the first floor of a single-family home. He was standing on a ladder and reaching around a board to nail a microlam, pointing the pneumatic nail gun towards him. The head of the nail gun was likely only partially contacting the microlam and the nail penetrated Employee #1's lower chest, partially into his liver. Employee #1 went to a local hospital for treatment.
