Employee Bruised Knee When Falling from Order Platform

Employee #1 bruised his left knee when he fell twenty feet from an order picker platform while he was in a warehouse filling orders. Employee #1 was using a retractable lanyard and harness system that had been modified to keep the retractable lanyard extended to ninety one inches. However, the lanyard was not capable of completely protecting Employee #1 when he fell. When he fell, his knees hit the floor causing bruises.
