Employee dies after fall from metal storage racks

At approximately 9:15 a.m. on July 26, 2000, Employee #1 was descending a set of approximately 20 ft tall metal storage racks that held skids with bagged material. His foot apparently became caught on the plastic shrink-wrap that secured the bags to the skids and fell 5 ft onto the concrete floor. Employee #1 suffered head injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4:45 a.m. on the following day.
