Employee fell from truck

An employee, working as a truck driver, was washing a livestock trailer. He had finished the trailer and parked it by the shop. The employee was getting ready to go home when he decided to close the doors on the livestock trailer. He climbed the rungs on the side of the Wilson livestock trailer to close the doors and he fell from the side of the trailer to the ground below. A coworker, returning from the feed yard, noticed that the employee's truck was still on the site. The coworker found the employee standing by his pickup truck. He told his co-worker that he had fell about 8 to 9 feet off the side of the livestock trailer and to summon emergency medical services. The employee was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries due to the fall.
