Wall falls on worker

On September 19, 2000, a worker employed by Nelson Remodeling Inc, was pulling on a wall with a backhoe and chain. For unknown reasons the worker climbed down from his backhoe, and went into the basement. The worker placed himself in the direct path of the wall when it fell. The depth from the top of the basement wall to the bottom of the excavation was nine feet. The section of wall that fell was approximately 9 ft 10 in. tall.
