Investigation Summary
On November 24, 2000, a fatality occurred on the job site at Dunwoody Club Creek in Atlanta, Georgia. Employee #1 fell from a walkway to the hardwood floor approximately 10.33-feet below. His brother had hired Employee #1 for this particular job. Normally, the brother worked by himself, but he would hire Employee #1 from time to time when he needed help. Morrison Builders was the General Contractor for the project, and was responsible for putting up the guardrails. The accident occurred due to the lack of adequate guarding.
