Employee's head injured in fall off moving trailer

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on June 13, 2000, Employee #1, a temporary employee whose services were leased to Terry's Best Construction, was loading scrap lumber onto a trailer from a vacant lot. As the trailer was being moved to another vacant lot, Employee #1 jumped onto the back of the trailer, and then lost his footing. He tried to jump off to control his fall, but struck his head against the asphalt roadway. He sustained severe head injuries.
