Employee killed when crushed by falling slabs of marble

At approximately 1:11 p.m. on July 2, 2000, Employee #1 was standing between two rows of marble slabs standing on A-frame supports. He was pulling them forward to show a customer when 10 to 12 of the slabs, each weighing approximately 600 lb, fell over on him. Employee #1 suffered a fractured pelvis, sternum, and ribs, and numerous internal injuries. He was killed.
