Employee Killed When Car Catches Fire

On December 19, 2002, Employee #1, a trooper, was sitting in his vehicle filing an accident report when he was struck in the rear by a speeding vehicle, causing his vehicle to catch fire. He was unable to extricate himself. A Yonkers Police Officer attempted to rescue him but was unable, and Employee #1 died in the fire.
