Employee injured in fall from stepladder

Employee #1 was on a stepladder helping to remove a temporary wall constructed of 4 by 8 sheets of plywood. The bottom sheet of plywood had been removed. Employee #1 was holding the bottom of the secured plywood while a temporary coworker unscrewed it from the framing when the sheet came loose. Employee #1 lost his balance and fell off the stepladder onto the concrete floor, landing on a set of gym free weights. He sustained lacerations to the front of his head, and contusions to his head and face.
