Employee killed in fall from ladder

Employee #1, a subcontractor, was working from a 12 ft Bauer ladder. He was tightening bolts to install a skyline when he apparently fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Coworkers found him lying on his back, unconscious. Employee #1 was transported to the hospital, where he died. The ladder used was fine working condition and had no defects. There were no witnesses to the accident. Apparently, Employee #1 had a history of seizures.
