Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:50 p.m. on November 19, 1998, Employee #1 was using a pick to rearrange railroad ties that were loaded onto a gondola car. He was on top of the railroad car when he fell 8 ft 11 in. to the ground, striking his head as he landed. He died of head injuries sustained in the accident.
