Employee #1 and a coworker were performing a 2000-hour maintenance on a Link-Belt Model 4300 Hydraulic Excavator. Employee #1 was on the flat service deck behind the cab finishing a hydraulic oil change when he fell approximately 7 ft 5 in. to the concrete floor and was killed.
