Investigation Summary
A sign company had removed the existing outside store signs from the side of a department store and had installed new ones. An electrical contractor was making the connections from the new signs to the existing wiring. An electrician working for the contractor was in a crawl space in the store, connecting one of the new signs. The employee contacted energized parts and was electrocuted.
