Investigation Summary
Employees #1 and #2 were part of a crew setting up a single-family modular house. The rear box of the house had been set into position, and a 110-ton Krupp crane, serial #50901108, was being used to raise the roof. A four-cable sling was attached to the ridge pole of the roof. Employees #1 and #2 were walking under the roof as it was being raised when the ridge pole broke and the roof crashed down on them.
