Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a temporary maintenance worker, was collecting orange trash bags along I-77 in Charlotte. He had crossed the traffic lanes to the median, when his hat blew off. As he turned to grab it, he stepped into the path of a car. Employee #1 was killed.
