Employee Is Injured When Struck by Falling Object

On July 10, 2002, Employee #1, a foreman, was working with two coworkers. One coworker was in an aerial lift basket along with a 30 pound cable reel and was headed to the top of a cell tower. The basket was at a height of approximately 60 ft when the cable reel fell out and struck Employee #1, who was standing on the ground. Employee #1 suffered fractures to his neck and shoulder and was hospitalized.
