Employee Severs Finger While Catching Horse

On February 17, 2006, Employee #1 was catching a horse. His fingers were caught in the rope loop when the frightened horse bolted. His fingers were amputated; one finger was lost, one was reattached and two were removed at the tip joint. Employee #1 was hospitalized for surgical repair of his injured hand.
