Food Production Machinery Lacerates Employee's Finger

At approximately 8:20 a.m. on January 24, 2005, an employee was working for Union Foods in Irvine, CA, the company that manufactures Ramen noodles. He worked in noodle production line Number 1, and was injured at the Number 4 roller. Tokyo Menki Noodle Machinery Ltd. of Japan manufactured the noodle processing machinery. He was hospitalized and treated for a severe injury to his index finger and a laceration to his middle finger on his left hand. Details of the accident were not provided.
