Employee Is Injured in Fall from Work Platform

Employee #1 was working on the interior of a single-story, low-eve residence, when he stepped onto a rotted piece of 1-inch by 6-inch skip sheeting board. The board failed under his weight, and he fell 14 feet. He sustained back and rib fractures and was hospitalized for nine days.
