Employee Is Injured While Pursuing Shoplifter

On February 1, 2006, Employee #1 was helping a manager escort a shoplifter out of a grocery store. After an altercation took place, Employee #1 ran after the shoplifter and fell. He was hospitalized for a fractured ankle.
