Employee Is Killed While Felling Tree

On October 1, 2004, Employee #1 and his employer were felling a 50-ft pine tree at a private residence. Employee #1 had climbed up near the top of the tree. After the employer made several deep cuts into the trunk of the tree, it fell to the ground. Employee #1 fell approximately 40 ft and was killed.
